The Granite Barn is a traditional two storey farm building, which has been carefully and sympathetically converted to retain all the traditional character of the original dwelling combined with the discrete luxury of modern living. It forms the focus of our traditional small farm, Little Goonreeve Farm, which has hardly changed since the 1950’s.

The Barn will comfortably accommodate six in three separate bedrooms. A cleverly designed vaulted upstairs living area takes advantage of the double height space and rural views. The large airy living space has a separate dining area and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen making it perfect for entertaining.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom. The second and third bedrooms have either king-size double beds or two single beds each. The luxurious family-sized bathroom offers a spacious sanctuary after an action-packed day on the beach or out on the water.

You can enjoy your own private traditionally stocked Cornish garden, perfect for outdoor dining and open access to 20 acres of beautiful farmland.

Sleeping six, the bedrooms are located on the ground floor to allow for open-plan living on the first floor and to take advantage of the views across the countryside. The sunny master bedroom has a kingsize bed and enjoys views out onto the south facing garden. It has a Travatine tiled en suite bathroom with a generous shower, built in cupboards and storage area.

The second bedroom features zip and link beds that can be made up as a super king size bed or two three foot six wide single beds. The room faces west and looks out onto the farmyard. There is chest of drawers and clothes hanging facilities.

The third bedroom also has zip and link beds, making a super king or twin single beds. There is a chest of drawers and wardrobe.

The spacious bathroom is situated on the ground floor and comprises an integrated shower and bath offering an outstanding shower as well as a superior bath.

The whole upper floor of the barn forms a wonderful living area, divided by an oak staircase that leads up from the entrance hall. On one side you will find the spacious sitting area. Often bathed in sunshine, from here you can take advantage of the views over the farm and beyond, to the hills due west. There is a new generation log burner that triple burns the wood to provide maximum heat output but is also economic on the quantity of wood needed. (A complimentary basket full of logs is provided on arrival). There is a digital television with free satellite channels.

The sunny and light dining area is situated opposite. The dining table comfortably accommodates eight diners with a view out of the French windows to the garden below.

The separate well-equipped kitchen is conveniently situated adjacent to the dining area. Here you will find a 90cm dual fuel cooking theatre in a well set out kitchen with stylish Cornish slate work surfaces, an integrated dish washer, washing machine, fridge and freezer.
